Our award winning restaurant is situated on the old viewing gallery of the Clifton Pool. The design retains the original character features of the Victorian building with modern floor to ceiling windows, allowing great views over the pool.

Just do nothing….enjoy being looked after by friendly and discreet staff whilst watching the swimmers below and your food being prepared and cooked in the wood oven.

Head Chef, Freddy Bird, has developed the Lido menu as a unique take on Moorish and Mediterranean cooking with a strong focus on provenance. Primarily cooked over fire and in wood ovens at the Lido, it’s truly characterful cookery… relaxed, unpretentious and designed for sharing – put simply it’s food cooked to make people happy.

Lunch is served from 12 midday with a last sitting at 2.45pm with choices from either the set menu or a la carte menu.

Dinner is served from 6pm with a last sitting at 9.45pm – the set menu is also available from 6pm to 6:45pm Mon-Fri (January to November only) and on Sunday evenings (all year round).

For those who love their food ask for ‘Birdfood’, our tasting menu at £50 per person. Please note that due to the nature of this experience we cannot cater for dietary requirements.

If you would like to swim before your meal, we have set swim and eat packages throughout the day.

Poolside bar

As with the restaurant, our bar has an amazing poolside location with both indoor and outdoor seating serving food and drink all day


Breakfast in the bar is available from 8am to 11.30am Monday to Saturday and from 9am to 11.30am on Sundays. click here for the latest breakfast menu.


From 12- 10pm, the bar serves a daily changing tapas menu with a variety of hot and cold small plates.
