Specializing in close up magic and mentalism, we are thrilled to invite Alex back to perform in our poolside bar and restaurant over two evenings in December. Known for his huge variety of magic tricks including card tricks, mentalism, pickpocketing, metal bending and effects with borrowed items or putting a bottle of wine through a table,

The award-winning magician will be going around table to table during the dates and times above. Be sure to book a table to avoid disappointment.

Almost Synchro
9^th + 16^th + 21^st December

Almost Synchro are a group of 20 Bristol based swimmers, united by a passion for outdoor swimming and performing together. Originally brought together in 2019 as part of a mass synchronised swimming performance to celebrate the centenary of Bristol’s Henleaze Swimming Lake, post-pandemic, a smaller group continued to meet and practice and Almost Synchro was born, ballet leg first!

Guests are not required to purchase a ticket to watch the performance. We will be serving winter warmers in our poolside bar and mulled wine at reception. All outside tables are first come first served. Inside table bookings can be made online, please be aware we cannot guarantee a window seat for everyone.

GROUP DINING

Whether you wish to share a meal with someone special or celebrate the festivities with colleagues or friends, the Lido is the perfect setting for your group Christmas party or meal. Our front of house team will create the perfect surroundings to enjoy a fabulous Christmas cocktail, an extensive wine list & the best quality food sourced from local suppliers. We offer both set menu and sharing options as well as sharing small plates for groups of 10-15 in our bar area and a sharing feasting menu for groups of 20+.

PRIVATE HIRE & EXCLUSIVE EVENTS

For groups of over 35 we require private hire of the restaurant. Our capacity is 75 seated or 100 standing. We offer private use of the restaurant with a minimum spend agreement. Through December the minimum spend requirement for private hire ranges from £7,000 – £10,000 + 12.5% service charge, depending on day and time.
