Private / Exclusive Hire at Bristol Lido
For groups of 40 or more, we offer the option of exclusive hire of the restaurant. Depending on the day and nature of the event, private hire of the bar may also be available.
Private hire is based on a minimum spend requirement, plus a 12.5% service charge. The minimum spend varies depending on the day of the week and time of year, starting from £5,000.
• Seated capacity: 70 guests
• Standing capacity: 100 guests
For events of 70+ guests, we recommend hiring both the restaurant and the bar to ensure guests have ample space to move freely and to enable full use of our PA system and other facilities.

Menu Options
Set Group Menu
This option includes either two or three courses served individually, typically reflecting dishes from our À La Carte menu. It’s a great choice for a more formal dining experience.
For groups of 30 or more, a pre-order is typically required.
For exclusive hire, a full pre-order and table plan will be necessary.
For weddings or special occasions, we’re happy to collaborate with our Head Chef to create a bespoke menu.
Price: 2 courses – £45 / 3 courses – £49 (Prices may change after April 2026)
Group Feasting Menu
Designed for a more social and informal event, this menu is served ‘family-style’ with large sharing plates. Recommended for groups of 35+. No table plan required, but please let us know the seating arrangements for any guests with allergies or dietary needs.
Price: £55 per person (Please note: prices may change after April 2026)
Buffet
Available for standing events of 60 or more. Dishes are set up in the restaurant for guests to serve themselves.
Ideal for larger events such as weddings and festive parties.
Pricing available upon request.
We are able to cater for most allergies and dietary requirements. However, please note that we bake bread on-site, so we cannot guarantee a gluten-free environment for coeliac guests.
Seating Arrangements & Table Plans
We can accommodate up to 70 seated guests in the restaurant. Due to the building’s unique layout and architectural features, table arrangements may be slightly limited, but we’ll do our best to meet your needs.
• For groups of 30+ choosing the Set Menu, we require a pre-order and table plan, due two
weeks prior to the event.
• For Feasting Menus, no table plan is needed, but we do ask that you inform us of seating
arrangements for guests with dietary requirements or allergies.
Timings
Private hire of the restaurant is available during the following fixed time slots:
Afternoon: 12:00pm – 4:00pm
Evening: 6:00pm – 11:00pm
Please note: Last orders at the bar are called at 10:30pm. We kindly ask that all guests vacate the premises by 11:30pm at the latest.
All hire times must be agreed in advance and adhered to on the day of the event.
Terms & Conditions
• A 50% deposit of the agreed minimum spend is required to confirm your exclusive booking. A secure payment link will be provided, and the deposit must be paid within 48 hours to secure your reservation.
• The deposit is fully refundable up to 4 weeks prior to the event date. After this point, the deposit becomes non-refundable.
• Cancellations made within 1 week prior to the event will be subject to the full charge of the agreed minimum spend.
• A 12.5% service charge will be added to the final bill. This is in addition to the agre
