Facilities
The Pool
The 24 meter long (1.2 meter deep throughout) outdoor pool is open all year round and heated between 20-24 degrees Celsius. This temperature allows for comfortable swimming and is a wonderfully refreshing contrast to the heat of the sauna, steam room and hot tub.
We operate a virtual lane system to cater for those who challenge themselves with swim exercise or those who just want to chill and relax.
For your comfort, the chlorine levels are kept as low as possible with the help of our ‘wash naked’ policy and bespoke Lido shower gel in each shower cubicle.
Sauna and Steam Room
There is nothing better than a bit of heat therapy to help unwind both mind and body.
The Scandinavian Sauna is located in the building at the far end of the pool next to the hot tub. It is heated to around 85 degrees Celsius with 3 tiers of benching and a big glass window for great views across the swimming pool. For hygiene reasons, all guests are requested to sit on towels whilst using the sauna.
The steam room is on the other side of the pool near the spa reception, heated by steam this room has high humidity levels and a lower temperature to the drier heat of the sauna.
These facilities are for adults only.
Hot-tub
The hot-tub is nestled away in the far corner of the Lido, open to the elements and looking down onto the pool. Heated to 38-40 degrees celsius and with gentle massaging bubble jets, this is by far the most popular post swim area of relaxation at the Lido.
We kindly ask that all guests respect others and limit your times in the hot tub to a maximum of 20 minutes, especially when the facilities are busy.
This facility is for adults only.
Our Cold Water Drench Buckets
There are 2 cold water drench buckets, one by the sauna and one by the steam room. This can be used as part of a contrast bathing ritual, alternating between hot and cold to improve circulation, reduce pain and swelling.
